Privacy policy

When you convert a statement, the PDF is sent to our server and forwarded to our extraction provider (OpenRouter) to be read. We do not write your file, the extracted transactions, or any personal data from either one to a database or a disk. When the response finishes, the file is gone from memory.

The CSV and Excel downloads are assembled in your browser from the rows already on your screen. They are never built on, or passed back through, our server.

A password you type to unlock a protected statement is used only in your browser. It is never transmitted to us and never stored.

The browser opens the encrypted PDF locally, rewrites it without the encryption, and uploads only that unlocked copy. The original protected file never leaves your device.

Extraction runs through OpenRouter and the model provider it routes to. Their handling of the data is governed by their own policies, not this one.

The site is served from Cloudflare, which processes request metadata such as IP address in order to deliver and protect it.

We set no cookies, and we run no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts. There is no account to create and no profile built from your visit.

There is no retention period to quote, because there is no retention. Your statement exists in server memory only for as long as the conversion takes, and the transactions exist only in the browser tab you are looking at. Closing the tab discards them.

Because we keep no records of your conversions, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on request. For anything else — including questions about how this policy applies to you — write to privacy@realbankstatementconverter.com.

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new date at the top. Continued use of the service after that point means you accept the revision.
